Curse of the Kitty (Kats).

Remember a couple weeks ago when Cat excitedly posted about exciting progress on the mini-greenhouse project? Well, as soon as the lids came off of those (rapidly) growing starters, the cats (Camilla, in particular) got as excited as CatMatt. One day a couple weeks ago, in fact, they arrived home from work to find about half of the lovely little plants had been gnawed on...or completely eaten. So, Cat moved them under the window in the guest room and shut the door. But they needed more sun. So, CatMatt put up chicken wire (that's right ... the same stuff they put around the garden to keep bunnies out) around the greenhouses and stuck them back in the sunny bay window.

They figured, "This has to work." When they got home from work today, another story: Cats!


(Sigh). On to Plan C. Stay tuned to see if these little plants can survive a season in CatMatt's (beast-inhabited) house.
