Funniest project / most offensive post yet.

Readers, CatMatt spared you the sewage pump project (thankful, they're sure), but couldn't resist sharing the joy of this one. Consider yourselves warned.

The toilet in CatMatt's guest bathroom had been part of their house for a long time (40 years, maybe?). It used an awful lot of water, so CatMatt decided a new one was in order.

Cat realized her maturity level must be about that of a 10 year old when she couldn't help but giggle uncontrollably while pacing Home Depot's "land 'o toilets." A toilet, it turns out, is not a toilet. Thank you, Home Depot.

After some moments of complete overwhelm (and giggling), a decision was made, and the new toilet was prepared for its new home:

The cats helped, as always. Thank you, cats.

3 and a half hours and 3 trips to the hardware store later, water-efficient beauty:

Past and future guests alike, waiting for you.

Back.

So Indiana winters can get a lil boring, and it's been a while, but alas - spring is here and CatMatt's back with photos and tales of revelry (see: "unrestrained merrymaking") with Dan and Laura, who visited for a nice long weekend.

The weather was pretty gorgeous, so the group sauntered through downtown Lafayette and stopped at Chumley's for lunch. Aw:

Troublemakers at Riehle Plaza. Resemblance?

Silliness and music-making:

Obligatory late-night Checkerboard shot. Love it:
