It's beginning to look a lot like

It snowed. A lot. And it was lovely:

Wonderland.

CatMatt's house lacks outdoor outlets, which means no outdoor Christmas lights. Instead:

Deco.

CatMatt have been decorating for Christmas. They have a funky tree.

Matt decorating. The tree looks like a birthday cupcake. Yum:

SLU-town.

CatMatt spent the weekend in St. Louis. A few photos:

Amighetti's = yum:

The St. Louis Science Center has a crazy little exhibit involving two people across from one another, some lights, and some mirrors. The result is a reflection that's bit one person and a bit another. 'Twas a bit creepy to say the least:

A Clarification. In Jest. Sort of. :)

CatMatt would like to respond to a range of comments and concerns regarding a previous post on this blog. Well, not a post, really, but some photos. Some photos posted on 10.21.07 highlighting CatMatt's new furniture, specifically a couch, chair, and ottoman. The comments and concerns lovingly (lovingly besides those received from Laura Lou, that is - ha!) passed on to CatMatt have been regarding two unsightly lime-green IKEA tables featured in front of and next to the new furniture.

Please note, dear concerned (and apparently nauseated) readers - these tables are not part of the design scheme! Said tables were purchased many moons ago for CatMatt's first apartment, where they attractively complemented a modern black futon. They will soon, according to CatMatt (who have searched many an antique store over the past two months) be replaced with a more appropriate coffee table of sorts. In the meantime, please enjoy their blinding beauty:

Happy Halloween from CatMatt.

A couple o' nights ago, CatMatt carved their pumpkins. Halloween night, they were visited by nearly 100 trick-o-treaters!

New furniture!

A few weeks ago, CatMatt ordered real furniture for the living room (as in, the kind that doesn't require extensive assembly instructions). The living room's still a work in progress, but it's definitely more comfortable in the meantime.

More.

Marcie took these photos. And Matt's pumpkin is humongous.

Punkin.

On a balmy 93-degree Saturday afternoon, CatMatt and friends Marcie and Neil checked out a pumpkin patch in the country. Too hot for apple cider, but not for hayrides and pumpkin-picking.

Marcie and Neil on the hayride:

Bundt.

New kitchen table and chairs arrived ... which means ... the kitchen and dining room are *finally* finished!

Matt made a bundt cake in honor of this weekend's house guests: Marcie and Neil. Cat thinks Mary Kay would be proud.
